
Prior to returning to New York in January of 2007 to launch Inmost Partners, a financial advisory firm, Eliot Kang was the President & CEO of Korea's first marketing communication group - GIIR, a publicly traded holding company where he continues to serve as a member of the Board. Eliot Kang's advertising career spans over the last two decades from U.S. to Asia. He is the founder of Kang & Lee Advertising, America's leading multicultural marketing consulting and communications agency specializing in Asian-American market. Kang & Lee Advertising is a member of Young & Rubicam and a WPP Group company. Eliot Kang founded Kang & Lee, in 1985 to help corporations effectively reach Asian consumers in the U.S. Kang & Lee joined the Young & Rubicam family of companies in 1998. The agency's roster of clients include many of the Fortune 100 companies such as AT&T, Bank of America, Sears, Western Union, Shiseido Cosmetics, and Pernod Ricard USA, among others.
Among his numerous accolades, he is a recipient of the 2002 Diversity Achievement Award from the American Advertising Federation (AAF). He has been inducted into the 2000 AAF Hall of Achievement and has previously been selected by Crain's NY Business as one of "Most Influential Minority." Eliot studied at Cornell University where he majored in Social Psychology and worked as a staff of Ithaca Youth Bureau counseling juvenile delinquents.
